Broadway en Espanol -- Tuesday, June 14, 8 p.m. -- This groundbreaking program, created in partnership with Univision and Cara Mía Theatre Co. translates specific performances of touring Broadway shows into Spanish with audio delivered via headsets provided free to any interested attendee. The translation is performed live by members of the Cara Mía Theatre Co. who are sequestered in a glassed-in booth at the back of the Winspear Opera House. Ticket buyers wishing to listen to Beautiful – The Carole King Musical in Spanish, available at the Tuesday, June 14, 8:00 p.m. performance only, are able to check out listening devices in the lobby of the Winspear Opera House prior to the performance. There is no charge to borrow the devices and no reservation is necessary.
