Volunteers plant trees in Richardson’s Lookout Park

The group was organized by the Dallas chapter of SAP Business Women’s Network and One Earth One Chance.

Volunteers organized by the Dallas chapter of SAP Business Women’s Network and One Earth One Chance helped to plant 10 trees around Lookout Park in recognition of Texas Arbor Day, the city of Richardson stated in an announcement. https://richardsontoday.com/volunteers-plant-trees-at-lookout-park/

The effort was part of an ongoing tree planting program offered by the city’s Parks and Recreation department.

Through the program, interested community groups can purchase a tree or multiple trees and plant them, or have them planted by the city, on city-maintained land.

Trees are selected from the city’s approved planting list of North Texas natives, and tree locations are determined by the person/group purchasing the trees along with a city representative.
