Photos: New brunch punch at Truck Yard is huge, y'all

Brunch punch: Sounds like a spritzy way to start your day, right? It's spritzy, alright. You've got to be pretty nervy, drinking such a concoction before noon.

This bowl of juice and alcohol serves 10 people. (Or five, depending on how much you drink.) You'll find it at Truck Yard, a backyard bar near Greenville Avenue in Dallas that feels like a chic trailer park.

Better wear your fancy pants for this mid-morning delight, because your drink will be served with a ladle, as if you were at a wedding shower. No need for a few thousand straws. You aren't hooligans sipping from a fish bowl of alcohol. Not yet, anyway.

The punch is made with vodka, Cointreau, sparkling wine, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, lemons and mint. It's part of Truck Yard's new Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekly. They will have special brunch food trucks on-site as well as Hypnotic Donuts for sale.
