They gave us the first teaser back in October with a three and a half minute video showing off the system's biggest selling point: That it doubles as both a home console and a portable gaming device. Since then, though, they've been very quiet (aside from a surprise appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon).

But at 10 p.m. central time on Jan. 12, Nintendo is expected to give us the first in-depth details about the console.

We expect to hear information about the price (expected to be around $250), the release date (known to be in March, but they haven't gotten specific), the launch games and more.

The unveiling is coming live from Tokyo, Japan, but will be streamed online globally. You can watch the presentation -- in English -- in the video player below. (Update: Begins at around the 33:20 mark.)

Following the unveiling, Nintendo of America will be hosting a livestream from their Treehouse team (responsible for Nintendo's localization efforts in North America) that will show off more of the games in-depth. That will kick off at 8:30 a.m. central time on Friday, Jan. 13.
