A gaming newbie plays 'Doom' (with a geek) at QuakeCon 2015

The new Doom, being developed here in D-FW by Id Software, looks great so far. They debuted the game's multiplayer at QuakeCon 2015 at the Hilton Anatole, giving attendees a world-first hands-on look at the game, which doesn't come out until the spring of 2016.

You can read my impressions of the game (based on roughly 45 minutes of multiplayer matches) if you're a gamer and actually care about how it compares to the classic Doom and other shooters. But I was personally more interested in getting the reactions from my friend and GuideLive colleague Sarah Blaskovich, who does not play video games.

At all.

I apologize to the other four people on our team. But her facial reactions in the video below were so, so worth it.

Thanks to Tommy Noel for shooting the video, and to Sarah for being a great sport.
