Queen of the South has been renewed for a fourth season.
Alice Braga stars as Teresa Mendoza in the drama about a woman's fight for control of a drug empire just finished its third season on USA Network. The series is shot in Dallas.
The renewal isn't the only news. Showrunner Natalie Chaidez will step down to "develop my own projects full-time with my friends at Fox and Fox 21 Television Studios," she told Deadline.
Co-executive producer Dailyn Rodriguez and supervising producer Ben Lobato will move into her role. David Friendly remains executive producer.
Queen of the South can be found on Netflix between seasons.
