Dallas Cowboys veteran DeMarcus Ware is trading cleats for dancing shoes. He is among the 13 celebrities who will compete on the new season of Dancing With the Stars.

The celebrity cast was announced Wednesday morning live on Good Morning America. The show will have its 27th (!) season premiere Monday, Sept. 24, with a two-hour show starting at 7 p.m. Central on ABC.

Ware will dance with pro Lindsay Arnold, who won DWTS in Season 25 with singer-actor Jordan Fisher. Arnold was also a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance and went on tour with the show.

Ware, now a coach in the NFL, brings his own hardware to the pairing. He and the Denver Broncos won Super Bowl 50 in 2016, 24-10 vs. the Carolina Panthers. He's also the Cowboys leader in sacks with 117 and forced fumbles with 32. Ware played most of his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys and signed a one-day contract as he was retiring so that he could end his career as a Cowboy.

Former Dallas Cowboys players are favorites on the show. Dancers in the past have included Emmitt Smith, who won the third season; Michael Irvin; and Terrell Owens.

Other dancers are model Alexis Ren; country radio powerhouse DJ Bobby Bones; Paralympic skiier Danelle Umstead, who has impaired vision; Hogwarts alum, actress Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood); Bachelorette alum Joe "Grocery Store Joe" Amabile; actor John Schneider (The Haves and the Have Nots, Smallville, Dukes of Hazzard); actor-director Juan Pablo Di Pace (Mamma Mia!); Olympic gold-medal gymnast Mary Lou Retton; actor Milo Manheim (Zombies, American Housewife); comedian Nikki Glaser (Trainwreck); and musician-model Tinashe.

Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews host the show. The judges' table includes head judge Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
