Ready, set, cook: 'MasterChef' is coming to Dallas in September to look for contestants

MasterChef is coming to Dallas to look for chefs to compete in Season 10 on Sept. 29.

If you are a good cook and you like getting yelled at, then this might be an opportunity that's tailor-made for you. The open casting call for Season 10 of the Fox reality TV competition hosted by Gordon Ramsay will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Art Institute of Dallas (8080 Park Lane #100).

Aspiring competitors have to bring a prepared dish to serve to judges and can pre-register at MasterChefcasting.com.

Registration is not required to attend the open call, but good food is. So start trying out recipes now so that they're perfect on arrival. Each person will only get minutes to plate their offering and no accommodations will be made for heating or chilling your dish.

The show will travel to eight cities to look for amateur cooks starting Sept. 8 with Minneapolis and Charleston, S.C. Atlanta and Boston will be Sept. 15. New York City and Chicago will be on Sept. 22. Los Angeles will share the Dallas date of Sept. 29.
