Did you see Dallas 'Drag Race' alum tear up the stage on 'So You Think You Can Dance'?

"My name is Jay Jackson. Also known as Miss Estranja, honey darling. And I'm 29-years-old from Dallas, Texas."

And that's how Jackson took over the 15th season premiere episode Monday, June 4, of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance.

Before he took the stage, he said in a featurette that when he graduated from college, he had a hard time getting a job as a dancer because they said he was "too feminine."

Or with:

Since "drag chose me ... when I fully embraced that I am a feminine male," he says "the floor is my mission and baby, I am on it." And on Monday night, he said he came to "turn up and turn out." And he did, as evidenced by the wide smiles on the faces of judges Mary Murphy, Nigel Lythgoe, Vanessa Hudgens and guest judge Stephen "tWitch" Boss.

The smiles alone didn't cut it though.

Host Cat Deeley was clearly smitten in her interview with Jackson before the audition. The audition was great, wowing the judges from the opening moves.

But some of the judges didn't think the style of dancing would compete well. Lythgoe began with a no, but Hudgens followed with a sweet yes to send Jackson to "The Academy," the next step in the show. When Twitch wavered, Jackson pointed out that he had training in all of the styles required. And Murphy said, "It's crazy" but she said also said yes.

And so Miss Estranja is on to the next round.

Fans may remember Laganja Estranja from RuPaul's Drag Race. In case you forgot, though (how could you?), the reminder was that Miss Estranja used host RuPaul's "Cover Girl" as the accompanying music.

So You Think You Dance airs Mondays on Fox. Fans can also watch the show on Hulu.
