Martha Stewart joins the judges on Food Network's 'Chopped'

Martha Stewart -- that doyenne of domesticity, the head roaster in charge, a friend of Snoop -- has joined Chopped as a recurring guest judge.

Quick with the wit and even quicker with the folding of the fitted sheets, Stewart will recur on the Food Network show starting in June. The show pits chefs against each other through three rounds in which they have to create dishes using a mystery basket full of ingredients. The winner gets bragging rights and $10,000.

First ... does she even have the time? According to her Twitter, she's hatching peachicks, baking cakes, doing the most with the succulents in her greenhouse and launching a new line in her empire.

We all know Martha really can make a silk purse out of sow's ear, so this should be interesting to see how her legendary resourcefulness will play out. Stewart will join the cast on Tuesday, June 5, at 8 p.m. in an episode with "high-end, top-dollar ingredients" in the contestants' mystery baskets.

The next episode of Chopped will air Tuesday, April 24, at 2 p.m.
