Save the date: 'Scandal' and 'How to Get Away With Murder' will cross over on March 1

Fans knew an epic Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder crossover episode was coming, and now they know when: March 1.

The crossover seems like fan fiction come true complete with hash tags #HowtoGetAwaywithScandal and #TGITCrossover when it was confirmed by creator Shonda Rhimes on Jan. 3 via Twitter.

In "Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself," Kerry Washington's Olivia Pope gets a visit from Viola Davis' powerhouse attorney, Annalise Keating. Keating asks for help getting a case to the Supreme Court. The episode, directed by President Fitzgerald (Tony Goldwyn), will be at 8 p.m.
