With just a few more episodes left to air in its second season, Queen of the South has held steady in ratings all summer.

The series is shot at South Side Studios on Lamar Street in Dallas.

Queen of the South is based on the novel La Reina del Sur by Arturo Perez-Reverte. It was earlier adapted into a popular telenovela starring Kate del Castillo (Netflix's Ingobernable) for Telemundo.
