Steve Harvey wants you to give him some space, leaked staff memo says

Some change comes on easy. And then there's the kind that Steve Harvey wrought on his interpersonal relations with his staff.

While the intent is understandable, given the pressure he's under to perform for all of his shows, one thinks the memo could have been worded a little kinder and gentler.

Harvey talked with Entertainment Tonight about the backlash, but he's not about that apology life. The e-mail came about in response to intrusions at every turn, all the time, he said, though "in hindsight, I probably should've handled it a little bit differently."

This fall, the revamped show will change its name to Steve and move to Los Angeles. Some think a staffer who will not be making the move leaked the email.

Whatever you think, though, we can all acknowledge that he kept his manners, ending the memo with "Thank you all, Steve Harvey."
