Here's your chance to go around and around at Texas Motor Speedway.
But racing cars will not be involved. On Saturday, May 6, thousands of people -- and let's face it, that probably means you, too, you "Wheel Watcher," you -- will attempt to make it onto Wheel of Fortune, which is scheduled to bring its "Wheelmobile" to the track for open auditions.
The Wheelmobile will be at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series garage situated in the infield starting at 1 p.m. Saturday. Aspiring contestants will have to fill out an application and then enter a drawing to hopefully be picked to play the game on stage. That will serve as an audition for consideration to move on to the televised show.
There will be three shows: at 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m. Staff will hand out applications starting one hour before each scheduled show.
Everyone can fill out an application.
But only a few will win a chance to audition and even fewer will win a prize.
There is one prize that everyone in attendance will get, and that's free parking in the infield. Enter through the South Tunnel, which will open at 11 a.m. The South Tunnel can be accessed via Allison Way off Highway 114. Texas Motor Speedway is at 3545 Lone Star Circle, in Fort Worth.
