The explosive Season 4 saw Poussey die at the hands of a guard and an uprising in the aftermath. Daya has a gun and a look in her eye that doesn't bode well for the guards. And Season 5 will begin in the very same tense moment.
The new season will happen in real time over a three-day period.
Lichtfield was about to collapse under the strain of guard-inmate relations last season. It will be interesting to see if that feeling continues with inmate-inmate relations as they take over the prison.
