Executive producer John Legend goes 'Underground' as Frederick Douglass in Season 2 of WGN America show

Pulses are still pounding from the first-season finale of Underground.

The stakes are still high in the second season as Harriet Tubman (Aisha Hinds) and William Still (Chris Chalk), both seminal figures in the Underground Railroad, join the action. Underground is a slave narrative unlike many in that it chronicles the attempts of a group of slaves to gain freedom. It's full of suspense and plays more like an action film with depth.

Executive producer John Legend will play Frederick Douglass this season.
