Actor Bryan Cranston left his book at Dallas Love Field airport, and one lucky fan found it

All the signs are there that Bryan Cranston is a good guy.

Affable in demeanor, a little self-deprecating, always in good humor. And a gracious winner: See his Emmy, Golden Globe and otherwise acceptance speeches for playing homicidal Walter White in Breaking Bad and a stern Lyndon Baines Johnson in All the Way.

And a gracious loser for all of those nominations as the fan favorite dad on Malcolm in the Middle.

He confirmed his Hollywood good guy status when it appears he bought and paid for a copy of his book and left it for some lucky soul to find it at Love Field. He left a mash note on the receipt, concluding with "Have a nice day."

Cranston was in Dallas for a sold-out appearance Wednesday at SMU about his book and career. Culture critic Chris Vognar moderated the "public conversation" and interviewed Cranston for this story.

Just last week, the also Oscar-nominated actor held an open forum on Reddit, declaring "Ask me anything." Those things can go left, i.e. R. Kelly's Q&A on Twitter.

But sometimes they go oh, so right with actual admiration and adulation among the offerings.
