Deadline reports that USA Network announced Monday that it will pull Shooter from its summer schedule.

The network had already delayed the show's debut last week after the deadly shootings of police officers in Dallas on July 7. The original premiere date was July 19; it was rescheduled to July 26. But after the fatal shootings in Baton Rouge, the show has been shelved until the fall.

The network didn't give a specific date in the fall, just that it had moved the show "after further consideration" and that it was "just not the right time" for its debut.

Ryan Phillippe stars in the show based on the movie with the same title that starred Mark Wahlberg.
