Weekly watcher: Frisco woman dug up her roots on TLC's 'Long Lost Family'

"It's gonna be an exciting one," says Kris Kahle of Frisco.

The story of her search for her birth parents was featured on Long Lost Family at 9:01 p.m. Sunday on TLC.

"All of them so far have been tearjerkers, but ours will be different," she says. "I was told one thing by my adoptive parents ... but it turns out to be crime. It's actually a very sad story, but it's a happy story about why I was given up ... it was for my benefit."

Kahle, 58, thinks her story came to the show's attention after she joined an adoption website that she thought led her to what she thought was her family. She found out it was the wrong one when the DNA tests came back negative.
