We learned a few things: his father didn't want him to play football; his mother enrolled him anyway and hid it from his father; and his father found out when they were going to the championship game and he "wasn't the happiest but I've been playing football ever since."

"Oh, he loves it now," said Miller's best friend, Tony Jerrod-Eddie. "His son's the Super Bowl MVP, you know. It worked."

A shirtless Miller and partner Witney Carson danced to "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.

"It's the song I listen to before every single game; it's like the calm before the storm," Miller said.

Miller was safe, of course, after his dance. Mischa Barton and her partner were not. Dancing With the Stars will return Monday night at 7 on ABC.
