We approve this message: House of Cards gets season 4 release date, campaign-ad teaser

See what President Frank Underwood is up to in our first glimpse of House of Cards season 4.

It's been 10 long months since we've heard from President Frank Underwood, but the POTUS is back in the Oval Office to bring us our first look at the fourth season of House of Cards.

Netflix announced the start date for the new season is March 4 — a bit later than season 3's end of February and season 2's Valentine's Day release dates.

The first promotion was spotted on Tuesday night, and the first teaser video went live around the same time. Go ahead, watch. I'll be here when you get back.

Our first look at President Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is a political ad for his 2016 re-election campaign. He's still hocking his "America Works" program to address unemployment.

In the meantime, I've got to get my hands on one of these buttons.

Let's hope "We're only getting started" also applies to the run-up to the season debut, because I'm already getting pumped.

UPDATE: Luke now knows the difference between a "teaser" and a "trailer." Also, this story now reflects that the Valentine's Day release was for season 2.
