It's been 10 long months since we've heard from President Frank Underwood, but the POTUS is back in the Oval Office to bring us our first look at the fourth season of House of Cards.
Netflix announced the start date for the new season is March 4 — a bit later than season 3's end of February and season 2's Valentine's Day release dates.
The first promotion was spotted on Tuesday night, and the first teaser video went live around the same time. Go ahead, watch. I'll be here when you get back.
Our first look at President Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is a political ad for his 2016 re-election campaign. He's still hocking his "America Works" program to address unemployment.
The Netflix team practically pushed us all in front of a train of promotional materials in the last 24 hours, with Underwood's new FU2016 campaign site delivering plenty of entertaining bits. Fans can see updates on his staffers and join the FU social media campaign.
Fans who are all caught up will really appreciate the About Claire page on the site. And lest we forget, the first lady is played by Dallas-born Robin Wright.
We've still got a couple months to wait — more than enough time to find a place that delivers BBQ ribs at midnight.
In the meantime, I've got to get my hands on one of these buttons.
Let's hope "We're only getting started" also applies to the run-up to the season debut, because I'm already getting pumped.
