Here's the first clip from the Victorian-set 'Sherlock' Christmas special

The BBC has released the first short clip of the upcoming Sherlock Christmas special, and so far it's looking like everything we hoped it would be.

The special takes the cast of Sherlock, which re-imagines the classic detective in a modern setting, and puts them back where they belong: the Victorian era. Showrunner Steven Moffat announced at San Diego Comic Con this week that it would air in select U.S. theaters this holiday December.

This first clip also has a tinge of self awareness, with Sherlock apologizing for being gone so long (the last episode of the series aired in early 2014, and the series isn't scheduled to make a proper return until 2016).
