America, we can't seem to shake this. So many feels this a.m. with the shootings in Charleston, S.C., that it was hard to talk about anything else.
We managed to do it, though, because we had to take a moment to speak on the shootings. And then there was Rachel Dolezal, a story seemingly made for us, and sad in its own way. As usual, we took a tour through The Dallas Morning News. We've had our own issues in the city and some uplifting news, too. Assault on DPD? Am I right? Thank God for Black Twitter, Juneteenth celebrations, Bob Miller and the Golden State Warriors. And Empire, always Empire.
But we found a way to laugh at things, as friends are wont to do. Tawnell and I went to work. Maybe we'll be the pill you need to swallow today. #Charleston
