You've had a week to watch all thirteen episodes of Daredevil on Netflix, so now you can watch Robert Wilonsky and I hash it out on Reel Genius. (Actually you can watch even if you've only seen a few episodes). We both dig Marvel's latest effort, especially the grimy (and rather violent) tone that suggests a top-flight crime series more than the usual superhero saga. (As Robert points out, Frank Miller, who worked on both Batman and Daredevil comics, has left quite a mark on the genre). This is just the first of Netflix's Marvel collaborations: Daredevil will soon be joined in Hell's Kitchen by Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, who will team up to create The Defenders.
