The second season of HBO's hit series True Detective will be pretty different from the first, if only because we won't see Dallas' own Matthew McConaughey confusing people with his philosophical ramblings.
The whole cast, in fact, is different. New characters, new setting, new case. It's a fresh slate, meaning we can all go in without knowing too much about what to expect -- especially because the show's first teaser trailer doesn't give you much information to go on.
True Detective returns to HBO on June 21. The new season stars Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch.
