Jimmy Kimmel and Matthew McConaughey say Austin video store is alright, alright in hilarious commercial

Jimmy Kimmel is taping his show in Austin this week during the SXSW film, music and tech festival. And naturally, he's embedding himself in the local culture by visiting the city's unique businesses. (Remember when he went to Franklin's barbecue joint last year?)

This time around, Kimmel decided to make a commercial for one of Austin's independent establishments. Considering SXSW emphasis on technology, the late night talk show host decided to swing the pendulum and make a commercial for a business that is very low-tech -- Vulcan Video.

And who better to feature in a commercial about a local movie store than local movie star Matthew McConaughey? (Who's looking wonderfully scruffy, I might add.)

The duo busted out every McConaughey cliche they could fit into five minutes underneath loud noises and flashing ad text, including a solid "alright, alright." The sketch is all things campy and hilarious. Even if you hate streaming -- seriously so convenient, ugh! -- bare with it for the next eight minutes for a good laugh.
