North Texas’ Trevor Douglas wows a House of Blues crowd for a spot on Idol’s top 24

We've been following Fort Worth's Trevor Douglas steps through the American Idol competition and so far he's been one of the contestants with the most camera-time. This is good news, usually those contestants tend to go far since viewers have more opportunities to see what they can bring to the show and if they really are deserving of their support. Trevor has been playing the Idol game very well, he's been charming and geeky without letting any of that distract from his talent as a performer.

This week the contestants get to perform in front of a live House of Blues audience. After their performance the judges choose only 24, 12 men and 12 women to go through to the audience-voting stages, starting next week.

Take a sneak peek at Trevor's rendition of Elvis' "Burning Love" and watch American Idol tonight to see what the judges thought of his performance and if he makes it through. I'm pretty sure he does. Jennifer Lopez seemed to be enjoying it quite a bit. Plus, see some performances from some of my favorite contestants.
