Bring the whole family out for Family Fun Night, a monthly Saturday evening series that kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy. Each evening will feature hands-on activities built around a Magic Planet topic, plus access to the exhibit hall and parts of the sanctuary. You’re welcome to take a break from your adventuring to enjoy your own snacks or picnic at our outdoor dining area.
Each program is 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. $19/non-member (Age 3 years through adult). Pre-registration is required for this event. Closed toed shoes, long pants, and bug spray are recommended. Participants will be outdoors for at least an hour. Children ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Aug 10 -- Back-to-School Family Fun Night: Come celebrate the last weekend of Summer break at Heard. Enjoy an out-of-this-world Magic Planet Program, take a night hike through the sanctuary, and meet some of our animal ambassadors.
Sept 21 – Dinosaurs Live: Help us celebrate the return of Dinosaurs Live for its 14th season! We’ll dig into dinosaur geology and hike the dinosaur trail to welcome the new arrivals.
