The 8th annual festival, June 6-9, showcases 28 feature-length films and 36 short films, many from Texas-based filmmakers. Festival headquarters is the historic Texas Theatre but screenings will also take place at the Kessler Theater, Bishop Arts Theatre and Wild Detectives. In addition to screenings, there will be parties and workshops and live music at popular Oak Cliff restaurants and venues.

The opening night film is Greener Grass, a satire of suburban American life. Directors and stars Jocelyn DeBoer and Dawn Luebbe (Upright Citizens Brigade) will be in attendance. The screening will be followed by a DJ set by maximalist electronic composer Dan Deacon.

Individual screening tickets and festival passes are available. See the festival's complete schedule here.
