Black Filmmaker Series

The Texas Theatre, South Dallas Cultural Center and the African American Museum team up to present the 2nd annual Black Filmmaker Series in conjunction with Black History Month. This year's films are an eclectic mix by black directors and short features by film students at North Texas colleges and universities. Some films will be screened at the African American Museum in Fair Park. Tickets are $1.

Feb. 2 - House Party (1990). House Party After Party to follow screening.

Feb. 9 - Body and Soul (1925). At African American Museum at 2:30 p.m.

Feb. 10 - Black Panther (2018)

Feb. 16 - Medicine for Melancholy (2008). At African American Museum at 2:30 p.m.

Feb. 22 - The Watermelon Woman (1996)
