Food in Fashion at

Cuisine meets couture when Food in Fashion returns for its 2019 edition. Featuring a culinary competition, a fashion show and live and silent auctions, this event has sold out in the past.

Local student culinary teams will prepare appetizers for guests at the event, the food will be judged by a panel of professionals. A Culinary Cup trophy will be awarded and top-placing teams will be eligible to have a program “wish list” need donated by Food in Fashion.

Fashion designers partner with restaurants to create fashions for models in a Project Runway-styled show. Ten percent or more of each fashion must come from the restaurant. The top designers and models will receive prizes.

Presented by volunteers for the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association, proceeds benefit Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation, Texas ProStart and other local career development programs.

Those interested in being a designer, model, auction item donor or volunteer can sign up online.
