37th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Weekend March / Parade

Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at a City of Dallas parade featuring colorful floats, marching bands, dance and drill teams, car clubs, community and civic groups, elected officials and more. This is the final event in the weeklong 2019 Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration, Jan. 15-21. All activities are free and open to the public.

Parade route: Begins at MLK Blvd. at Holmes St., proceeds east on MLK Blvd. to Fair Park.

After the parade, everyone is invited to the Realizing the Dream Expo at the African American Museum on the grounds of Fair Park. The family-friendly event includes health screenings, workshops, vendors, food, entertainment and giveaways.
