Prairie Lights (UPDATED)

The Night before Christmas is featured in the two-mile light show at Prairie Lights in Grand Prairie.

UPDATE: Prairie Lights will be closed Thursday, Dec. 13, due to the forecasted wind conditions for the safety of guests and staff.
Drive-through attraction includes 4 million lights twinkling along a two-mile path along the shores of Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake, including "the world's longest light tunnel." Visitors can hop out at Holiday Village and walk through the lighted Holiday Magic Forest, see a holiday show, enjoy snacks and drinks, and even visit with Santa (until Dec. 23).

The light display runs from Nov. 22 to Dec. 30. Open nightly 6-9 p.m. on Sunday-Thursday; 6-10 p.m. on Friday-Saturday; 6-10 p.m. on Nov. 22 and Dec. 24, 25 and 31. Long wait times are anticipated for Dec. 14-26. Be prepared and arrive early. General admission is $35-$45 per car.
