Outdoor ice skating in Texas? Believe it. Panther Island Ice, the only open-air rink in Fort Worth, offers a wintry seasonal experience for skaters of all ages. It’s open seven days a week, including holidays, through mid-January, and admission includes skate rental and at least 90 minutes of action during peak hours. Seasonal food and beverages are available for purchase, along with the regular menu at the Coyote Drive-In Canteen. Spectators may watch for free, but children under 12 must be supervised at all times.

The return of Panther Island Ice this holiday season will up the cool factor in Fort Worth. Located at Coyote Drive-In, Fort Worth's only outdoor skating rink brings a winter wonderland of fun and excitement. Beginning Nov. 16, the ice rink will operate seven days a week, including all holidays, through Jan. 14, 2019.

$12 general admission, includes skate rental; $9 with military ID or student or faculty ID from Tarrant County College or Tarleton State University; $10 with donation of two canned goods on Wednesdays; $6 on Tuesdays (excluding Christmas and New Year's Day).
