Grab the lederhosen and dirndl and prepare to polka, indulge in tasty German eats and treats, watch weenie dogs race, sample beer and roll out the barrel at the 10th annual McKinney Oktoberfest. The festival kicks off on Friday at 6 p.m. with an opening parade and keg-tapping ceremony and continues through Sunday with live music and entertainment on four stages. Other activities include an Arts and Crafts Marktplatz, kinder zone, petting zoo, carnival rides in Mitchell Park, stein holding and barrel racing contests.
