There are no gherkins or dills involved, but fans around the world would likely say pickleball is completely Kosher. Combining elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, the young sport has gained rapid recent popularity. Amateurs and pros will compete at this tournament, and there will be barbecue, smoothies and covered seating for spectators.

Amateur and pro level pickleball players compete in the Texas Open. Pickleball is an exciting new sport that is a cross between tennis, badminton and table tennis. In addition to exciting pickleball action, there will be food, vendors booths, covered seating and free admission.
