Country Music Hall of Famer Don Schlitz wrote "The Gambler" when he was 23 years-old. But, that iconic tale was just the first of 50 top 10 country music singles Schlitz would go on to write, among them "Forever and Ever, Amen," "When You Say Nothing at All" and "He Thinks He'll Keep Her."
As Kenny Rogers puts it, Schlitz "doesn't just write songs -- he writes careers."
In Denton, the Grammy Award-winning Schlitz will perform an intimate storytelling set following a 3-course Father's Day dinner featuring a 22 oz. prime bone-in ribeye.
