This year’s crawfish season started slow due to the weather, but in coming weeks, there will be a boatload of boils. This one at Grand Prairie’s Asia Times Square may have the most unusual options. In addition to traditional boiled crawfish, there’ll be vendors selling crawfish fried rice, Mexican-style crawfish and even dessert crawfish, plus there’ll be two contests for eating crawfish. The two-day festival will also include live music and karaoke.

Come hungry for two days of delicious crawfish eats and activities. There will be a variety of vendors each with their own crawfish specialty — from Asian to Mexican-style and even rolled ice cream with crawfish.
