Five teams of top local chefs will go for the win at Meat Fight, the annual barbecue battle benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Chefs - including Jeff Bekavac of Neighborhood Services, Justin Holt and David Uygur of Lucia, Tiffany Derry of The Cupboard and Matt McCallister of FT33 - will compete in 4 categories: brisket, pork ribs, sausage and Wild Card. New for 2017 is the addition of Sweet Fight, a competition featuring pastry chefs and sweets specialists.

Meat Fight ticketholders get to taste up to 20 Meat Fight competition meats and 9 Sweet Fight entries. Complimentary beer is provided by Tupps and Four Corners breweries and whiskey tastes from WhistlePig Rye Whiskey. Guests can also enjoy more treats from Noble Coyote Coffee and T-Rex Pickles, plus more meat madness with Meat Santa and meat caricatures.

Meat Fight's celebrity judges include BBQ Editor Daniel Vaughn of Texas Monthly, Todd David from Cattleack BBQ, Nick Pencis from Stanley’s Famous Pit Bar-B-Q, Jill Bergus from Lockhart Smokehouse, and weather guru Pete Delkus.
