Red River Showdown: University of Texas vs. University of Oklahoma

Whether you call it Texas-OU or OU-Texas, this legendary college rivalry between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners is more than just a football game during the State Fair. More than 100,000 people travel to Dallas for a weekend of revelry at bars and restaurants around town. Kick-off time for the game, played in the Cotton Bowl since 1929, will be officially announced in coming weeks.

Game tickets are purchased through each university’s athletic office. A ticket to the 2017 Red River Showdown includes admission to the State Fair of Texas on game day.
