Magical Winter Lights, Houston’s annual lantern festival and holiday celebration, is expanding to Dallas-Fort Worth in partnership with Lone Star Park. The lantern festival embraces Chinese cultural elements but also creates lantern designs that speak to the local audience. The D-FW festival will feature an entrance castle lantern inspired by the Dallas County Courthouse, a giant cowboy, and Dallas’ iconic Pegasus. There are several themed sections including Magical Wonderland, Christmas Candy Land, The Lone Star State, Dinosaur Land and Mystery of the East.
During your visit, you can also enjoy Chinese acrobatic performances (included in admission), dinosaur rides for children and a full-size food court.
$21, $13 for children ages 4-12 and seniors 65 and older, free for children younger than 4. $18 for wristbands good for unlimited carnival rides.
