Grab a spot on the lawn and settle in for an opening night simulcast of La Traviata, performed live by the Dallas Opera from the Winspear Opera House. Pre-opera fun gets underway at 6:30 p.m. with morning radio host Jody Dean, interviews with the opera stars, trivia for free opera swag and a Looney Tunes cartoon featuring Pepé Le Pew.
Admission is free, no ticket required. Seating is first come, first served. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Food and drink will be available to purchase.
