A Conversation and Tribute to Trini Lopez

Dallas native and world renowned singer Trini Lopez grew up in the historic barrio of Little Mexico. He got his musical start playing in and around Dallas and became a household name with his upbeat '60s hits including "Lemon Tree," "La Bamba" and "If I Had a Hammer."

During Hispanic Heritage Month, the Dallas Mexican American Historical League, in collaboration with Latino Cultural Center, presents "A Conversation and Tribute To Trini Lopez."
