Benefitting Dallas Firefighter’s Museum, this fourth annual event features safety programs, a 911 simulator, museum tours, an appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog, a giant fire truck inflatable slide, face painting, chalk art, games, prizes, photo opportunities on the museum’s engines and hose cart races with antique fire equipment.

FUN FOR ALL NOON TO 4 PM
Hose Cart Races will get underway at noon on Exposition Avenue. Timed races will feature two historically replicated hose carts, carrying actual fire hose, pulled by 5-person teams along the race course
Food and beverages by area merchants
Live bands under the big tent starts at noon on Exposition Ave.
Local artists create art for auction
Neighborhood cafes, restaurants and other area businesses will be open for everyone’s enjoyment.
Take DART’s Green Line, which stops at the Fair Park Station directly across from the Museum. Parking is available in the Fair Park lot (nearest the Women’s Museum Building), across Parry Avenue from the event. Limited area street parking is available.
The purpose and mission of the Dallas Firefighters Museum is to provide the City of Dallas a thriving and well-attended historical and educational asset. The Museum will teach fire safety, honor fallen heroes of the Department and preserve firefighting heritage.
