Whether in attics or in boxes under the bed, we all have family heirlooms, photographs, letters, and artifacts that are important to us. Researching our own family histories is so important, but where to start? Moreover, preserving these precious items is a challenge and can be expensive. Currently, more and more families are also facing the challenges of managing digital photos and files in a rapidly changing information environment.

This hands-on workshop will provide solutions to the most common challenges to historical research, artifact preservation, and digitization and file management.
