For its 34th year, the Dallas gay pride celebration will span 2 days with a festival in Reverchon Park on Saturday, Sept. 16, and the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade on Sunday, Sept. 17. A new addition to Pride Weekend this year is Beat, a Saturday night Pride Party.
The Dallas Pride Music Festival in the Park (Saturday, noon until 7 p.m.) is a family fun gathering with entertainment by Kristine W and Alyssa Edwards, kids zone, pet adoptions, teen zone, and community and merchant vendors.
Admission is $10 online or at the gate (cash only). Free admission for children 13 and younger (accompanied by an adult).
Sunday's Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade will start at 2 p.m. traveling down Cedar Springs from Wycliff to Turtle Creek Blvd, ending in Lee Park. The parade is free for spectators.
