Touted as Plano’s largest historic Easter egg hunt, the Heritage Farmstead Museum's annual event features more than 5,000 eggs hidden around the grounds. In addition to egg-hunting, children 8 and younger can look forward to historical home tours, exhibits, wagon rides and face painting. Kiddos can interact with furry Easter friends at the baby animal photo booth, offering photo ops with chicks, lambs and bunnies. Animal lovers will also enjoy the selection of sheep-themed activities, from shearing and wool skirting to spinning and weaving.

The egg hunt is divided up into time slots based on age groups, with four different time slots. The gates open at 10 a.m., with egg hunts staggered from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

$7, includes the egg hunt; $5 for adults, children older than 8 and children not participating in the egg hunt.

Online registration is required to participate in the egg hunt.
