The event will feature more than 20 restaurants, from Middle Eastern flavors with Biryani Kabab Factory to the unique offerings from Chef Cassy’s Creations, and it wouldn’t be a North Texas food festival without barbecue. Several food vendors will fire up their grills for some good old-fashioned comfort food. Admission to the event is free. Each restaurant will sell items from its menu for $5 or less. Alcohol will be sold in the Beverage Tent to guests 21 and older.

In between bites, take a walk through the Craft Marketplace. There you’ll find a number of artists selling apparel, artwork, custom jewelry and home décor. For guests wanting to tap into their culinary side, The Art Institute of Dallas will have live cooking demonstrations. Taste of Irving even has an area just for the kids. The Children’s Fun Zone will be packed with face painters, balloon twisters, a climbing wall and a giant slide.

In case you’d like to work up your appetite for seconds, come by the CBS 11 Main Stage. The live music lineup is as follows.
12:30 to 2 p.m. – The Obscure Dignitaries
2:30 to 4 p.m. – Bollywood Productions
