National, regional and local authors gather at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library in Dallas for the 4th annual Dallas Book Festival. Events include author talks, artistic and cultural performances and presentations, children's activities and workshops. This year’s fest is being held in conjunction with the Dallas Festival of Ideas, which will be centered down the street at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. (It was moved indoors from Dallas City Hall Plaza due to rain.) Free shuttles will run between the two events all day.
