"Movin' to the country gonna..." Too on the nose? OK, ok: about a montage of Forest Gump and Bubba Blue describing every way you can prepare, cook, manipulate and devour peaches? Still too much. We don't need to lecture you on the virtues of this fuzzy little fruit because the numbers speak for themselves: 40,000 people will drop by Weatherford to celebrate the delectable peach.

Enjoy some peachy treats at the 33rd annual Peach Festival in historic downtown Weaterford. is shaping up to be one of the best, with more than 200+ Arts/Craft, Food and Activity Vendors, In 2014, more than 40,000 flocked to Weatherford for this outstanding ONE DAY event held annually in historic Downtown Weatherford.

There’s no better way to beat the summer heat than by enjoying some peachy treats. Visitors can get their fill of homemade peach ice cream, peach cobbler, peach pie, peach juleps, peach tea, peach smoothies, ice cream topped with fresh peaches or just plain ol’ juicy peaches, eaten with the fuzz. And yes, plenty of Parker County Peaches.

There’s food, fun and non-stop entertainment for the entire family. Take your children to the Kiddie Korner for slides, rides and face painting.

More than 200 quality arts & crafts, produce and food vendors will line the historic streets of downtown, with the charming Parker County Courthouse as the backdrop. Many antique and specialty stores will have specials throughout the day, so be sure and visit the downtown merchants as well.

Admission is $5 for adults; free for children 12 and younger.
